NATIONAL RATING AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Large Businesses, although they comprise only 0.4% of registered business establishments in the Philippines, account for 65% of total Gross Domestic Product (2015). As such, and with their considerable media visibility, a specific national recognition and rating program is needed to be defined which will create an environment in the Large Business sector conducive to integrating climate change mitigation strategies into their business plans and therefore help accelerate scale-up of climate change mitigation in the country.
